THE STAND-ALONE STORIES

IN APPROXIMATE CHRONOLOGY

ACCEPTANCE A "missing scene" vignette which follows the episode "Irresistible". Be kind - it was my first.
PERSONAL FAVOR My first full-length short story, in which Skinner enlists Mulder and Scully's assistance in clearing up an embarrassing family matter.
FLIGHTS While tracking down an aberrant serial killer, Mulder helps Scully come to grips with a shattering experience. Introduces Special Agent Mike Thomas of the Atlanta Bureau Office.
TWISTER Co-written with Carol Jenner. Written before the movie, honest! Scully, Mulder and an old flame from his past investigate abnormal tornadic activity in South Dakota.
GROVETON Co-written with Carol Jenner. Dr. Candy MacDermott (from Twister) is back, in a story about a strange town in Florida whose population vanishes overnight, accompanied by mysterious bright white lights.
PARTNERS A bizarre and deadly affliction is breaking up some of the strongest partnerships in the Bureau. Will Mulder and Scully's be next? A personal favorite of mine.
SPOOKED Co-written with Melody. Mulder and Scully, on loan to the VCU, are in search of a serial killer bent on revenge. Their partnership, their relationships with others, and their methods are recounted by Chandra, a young but very observant clerk in VCU.
FAITH Special Agent Mike Thomas and AD Skinner race against time to find Mulder and Scully, who have disappeared while on the trail of the bomber of black churches in the Atlanta area.
LETTERS A killer is stalking FBI agents, striking downthose whom he feels are unworthy, and sending lettersexplaining his mission to A.D. Walter Skinner. When the next ingenious murder takes place right in the J. Edgar Hoover Building, Skinner feels Mulder may be the next target.
LEGACY The case of a missing fourteen year old girl forces some memories to surface, with momentous results for Mulder..
HOLLOW EARTH Sent by Skinner on an investigation into the disappearance of three men in rural Kentucky, Mulder and Scully's best suspect would appear to be Bigfoot. But the answer to this X-File is much, much weirder than that.
